Obedience exhibitors—the Western Waukesha County Dog Training Club is
holding an AKC Plan O "C" Match on Friday, July 24 in the building where our
Obedience classes are held. Classes are conducted as run-throughs with limited
corrections allowed. Click here to print

also provide a link to the Judging Program when it becomes available.
The
Judging Panel page is now on this web site with complete panels of judges for
all 5 days of our Wonderful Wisconsin Weekend. Summer Shows page
also includes the Dog Show Layout, RV Parking Rules and forms for RV Parking, and the link to the list of specialties, sweepstakes & supported entries held in
conjunction with Waukesha Kennel Club shows.
Our AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program class that started April 15 has now completed their 6 weeks of lessons and all successfully passed the Puppy Program test. If you have a puppy and wish to teach him how to be a good "citizen" call Barbara Curry (262.363.7385) for information. We will start another class in September. Puppies need not be purebred and must be under one year of age. The classes run for 6 consecutive weeks with the "Test" administered the 7th week. Cost is $75 paid in advance.
Our conformation training
classes are now in hiatus until September 2. One option for those who wish
to train their dogs during the summer months is Jeri El Dissi's classes at her
store LDC Pet Supplies on Hwy 164 on the south side of Waukesha. Her classes run
every Wednesday evening starting at 6:45 PM.
The Waukesha Kennel Club,
Inc. is located in southeastern Wisconsin, west of Milwaukee. We hold the
largest dog show in Wisconsin, both in size of entry and size of the show site.
The club is well known in
the area for conformation training classes and a Breeders' Directory that is
available with a toll-free 24-hour answering service. We also take pride in our
generosity, as in it's 40+ years of existence, the Waukesha Kennel Club, Inc.
has donated thousands of dollars to aid various dog-related organizations.
The complete Breeders' Directory, which is printed yearly and distributed in
late July, is divided up onto the following pages:
